Melanie Wiesel

Director of Admin Operations

Melanie Wiesel is the Director of Admin Operations at the Botnar Institute of Immune Engineering. Prior to BIIE, Melanie spent nearly a decade at the Wyss Zurich Accelerator, where she built up the operations and managed translational portfolios in robotics, medical devices, and regenerative medicine from early-stage innovation to clinical trials/product launch.

Her expertise in operational strategy and technology transfer is grounded in a scientific background in immunology and drug discovery from her work at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research and ETH Zürich. Melanie combines deep understanding of translational innovation in medtech and life sciences with strategic operational leadership to support BIIE's mission.
